Floating and Sinking
WALT: to make predictions and then test our predictions
Sam chose an object from the classroom.
He then
- asked the question; will it sink or will it float?
- made a hypothesis stating what he thought would happen
- tested his hypothesis by placing his object in the water
- observed what happened and reflected on his hypothesis
Sam, you enjoyed testing your hypothesis on whether something would sink or float.
